On October 7th, Carolyn and I met with 6 other couples at the Miami airport to fly 2 1/2 hours to Guatemala, a trip that we feel has changed our lives forever..... let me introduce you to the others...

Pastor Mark & Esther Hattabaugh, pastors of our new church in Cooper City FL. A special thanks to them for allowing Carolyn and I to be part of this tremnedous trip. As some of you know, we felt that somehow we would have involment in Central and South America before we moved to South Florida, we never imagined it would be this soon....

Pastor James & Noami Varnum, they pastor in Belleview FL, and are the current District Secretary. These are some of the best people you will ever meet! I found a friend in Sis. Varnum, she also has a tough time with the Florida temperatures, now I have a shoulder to cry on when the temps are high and my shirts are soaked with sweat !!

Pastor Daniel & Elizabeth Kyle, Pastor's in West Palm Beach FL and are the Foriegn Missions directors for our state. We gave the Kyles the nick name the "wavers" they seemed to find their way into many pics and video doing the parade wave, a personable and anointed couple.

Pastor Larry & Janice Cummins, West Palm Beach FL, assistant's to Pastor Kyle. When the Guatemalans got to worshipping, the Cummins "cut a rug " as well !

This is Pastor David & Karen King, they pastor in Dufuniak Springs Fl. A great couple that made us feel welcome. We were seperated in 2 groups, but I did hear that Bro. King preached an incredible message on Sunday morning. They have extended an invite for us to come up and visit them, I am sure we will.

Pastor Kenneth & Peggy Greathouse, they pastor in Homestead Fl, the Greathouse's befriended us immediately ! They are the kind of people that never meet a stranger.

Missionary's and Superintendants to Guatemala Brad & Regina Thompson with their kids . I felt truly honoured to have the opportinty to be with these incredible people. The Thompsons have been on the field for 20 years.

AIM Missionaries Alan & Michelle Palmer, they are currently on a 1 year assignment.Upon our departure they began language school, we know they will be a great help to the Thompsons and the people of Guatemala !

And finally, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Sis. Lynn Jewitt. She is a Missionary to Guatemala I believe she has been on the field since highschool. She is currentely working with the Thompson's and has spent many years working with the Drost's also. She is kind , warm, and a woman of God. She is my hero ! She is one of those people that when you leave her presence you feel like a better person.

After a short introduction at the airport we loaded our luggage on a bus and headed to the hotel.
